What if CBD isn't working for me? Troubleshooting Guide!!

by Stephanie Burner January 10, 2019

Honestly, the idea of CBD not working for someone is hard for me to hear. I want people to be well and it seems unfair! Though not often, it does come up and we are paving the road to greater understanding when we share our genuine experiences. It is always a good idea to be honest about how something is or isn’t working in your body! It’s easy to become very frustrated when you try CBD every which way and feel nothing. Or you find relief and then the body stops responding the same way it did months ago, at the same dose. Because we are all unique biologically and because things can change at a moment’s notice on a cellular level, this is normal and to be expected so don’t give up on yourself or your Endocannabinoid System. Below, I offer some suggestions for those who have experienced a lackluster effect from CBD.

Delivering Your CBD: Choose the method that fits your needs!

by Stephanie Burner September 26, 2018

Do you know there are at least 7 ways to ingest CBD oil?! It’s true, as if CBD isn’t confusing enough as it is 😉 How one chooses to ingest CBD will not change the effect, but it will determine the intensity and speed of absorption. What is CBD?

CBD stands for cannabidiol and is a cannabinoid found largely in hemp! A cannabinoid is a group of chemical compounds that interact with cannabinoid receptors all over the brain and body. These are phytocannabinoids, meaning they are found in plants, rather than endocannabinoids which are made in our bodies. When consumed, phytocannabinoids like CBD can have profound effects; both physical and psychological. They are mini messengers for our next subject: The Endocannabinoid System.
